PM, they've got some nice "Land Yachts" on that show.
Not only cool cars, but the PI is a snappy dresser.

Quantum of Solis tonight.

Late to the game, but just started season 2 of Succession. Took a few episodes to get sucked in, but really enjoying it. I also like the actor conversations at the end of each episode. Nice touch.

Very good show. Looking forward to the next season.

American Rust on showtime is pretty good. I like Jeff Daniels.

Watched 4 episodes of tin star last night. Probably watch a couple more tonight. Pretty good story line so far.

Have you seen the fight that starts in the SUV in the garage yet? You're probably not there yet. That scene epitomizes the offbeat nature of that show.

I saw that tonight. I thought the guy was going to die with his face in a bucket of blood.

The Expanse.

If you like Science Fiction it is great. The new season is playing new episodes on Friday nights. It had been a whiles since I saw the first episodes, and binge watching them from episode one to refresh the memory was nice. Like a lot of shows with a complex set of characters and multiple plot lines it comes better into focus with a re-watching. The graphics are pretty good, and the plot is realistic assuming a few hundred years if innovation.

One thing I do like, is they don't have an artificial gravity so they cope with weightlessness.

If you like Science Fiction, you will like seeing the colonies on Ceres, and other little asteroids and Mars and Luna base. Good show. It is all on Amazon Prime for no extra cost.

I've been wondering about that. I'll check it out.

This is a pretty interesting thread. I was pretty surprised that I have never watched any of the shows listed here except Gutfeld (and the 60's/70's shows that a couple people listed). I routinely look through my channels and have never even seen listings for most. I have the largest DirectTV package with Showtime and HBO. I guess many folks here are watching through Amazon Prime or some other service I don't have.

I did record Yellowstone (daughter says it is good) and am taping the prequel (1883) to it which looks better to me but have not watched any of either yet (except previews/commercials). I plan to watch those after I retire. I am not sure of which order to watch since the prequel is out before I viewed Yellowstone.

One I didn't see mentioned is "Resident Alien." The second season start the end of the month. I liked the first season.

Most of the time if you google the show, you'll see it shown where you can watch it and if it's free or how much it costs on different platforms.

Finished season 2 last night. I got to say, the song that started the episode (10) was a great choice.

Watching these days...
Ghosts, on CBS/Paramount. Yes, it looks like a crap sitcom but we have been pleasantly surprised, its far better written than the commercials let on.

American Auto, on NBC/Peacock. Not as good but acceptable. Touted as the "next Office or SuperStore", I hope not because those showed sucked badly.

Book Of Boba Fett...basically Mandelorian season 3, fewer space ships, more politics.

Expanse...one episode left, HTF are they going to close out the storylines? There must be 10 hours left, not 1 hour...

Locke and Key...kinda hate watching it now, it's not that good but we can't walk away.

Amazing Race...the most important TV show in existence. OK, maybe not, but we love it because if you want to win, you need to be BETTER than the other team. Unlike so many reality game shows, being cool or sexy or friendly or whatever means nothing...you still need to cross the line before someone else to actually win. Real wins for real effort.

Legends of Tomorrow, we're catching up on that

Bob's Burger...I'm personally tired of this show after, what, 12 seasons, but now I am enthralled with tracking the background shots. Someone on their animation team must have been an electrician, because every shot has conduit/outlets/junction boxes/straps on the walls, and they all make sense. Who puts that stuff in a cartoon?? You'll never watch this the same way again...

There will be a season 3 of The Mandalorian.

I am on season 2 of Tin Star. A lot going on. Keeps me interested;

Steve Carlton 01-15-2022 07:48 PM

Not your typical cop, huh! I think there's a season 3 somewhere, but not on Netflix.

jcwade 01-15-2022 11:07 PM

Just finished watching The Big Bang Theory.
All episodes over the last several months.
For the first time.

Lots of laughs, some of which would not be acceptable anymore.
