So Brady gave the guy a couple of Jerseys, season tickets and a few other odds n ends in consideration for a ball worth $500,000?

^^^ Did you watch the video?
The monetary value was the same to Kennedy as to Brady.

He also chipped in some Bitcoin, so given enough time (and luck), that might be worth more than $500K!
The fan admitted that he'd never sell the ball, so what he's got now (the swag) is worth more than what he would have had. Isn't it nice to see a fan who is actually a fanatic of the team/sport, and not just an opportuni$t?

Yep...the Kennedy guy will be a hero much more than if he would have kept it.
The ELR episode is exactly the same...and the same outcome.

Woah, woah, woah, there guys.
I’m a huge fan of Brady, I think Kennedy is a class act, too. But $500k to Brady is what a Big Mac and large fries are to us. Would I have held out for $.5M? Of course not. Maybe for all that stuff Kennedy did get and a new pickup probably. And it’s not the money. Brady should have shown more gratitude, big time. And if Kennedy says he would not sell the ball? Sure. That’s the ticket. That ball was worth more to Brady than to anyone else is my guess. |

I am not a Brady fan either. I tend to favor underdogs. I also remember the "deflate-gate" finding which showed us that Mr. Brady is ethically imperfect.
That said, I notice we are all ethically imperfect and my hat is totally off to Mr. Brady for his work ethic and accomplishments.
