Years ago on a whim I bought a 1974 Fiat 500.
- I was shopping for a Beetle at the time but I found the Fiat 500 and decided to buy it. Generally a great little car the responded well to tuning but it was so damn tiny inside. (They're much smaller on the inside than a Beetle) The best part: I made money when I sold it. |

Prius. Not necessarily because of the car, but because of the drivers. The least situationally aware drivers on the road. No concept of the traffic patterns around them. Some of the worst driving judgement on 4 wheels. Maybe inly rivaled by Uber and Lyft drivers, because those people are always driving in unfamiliar areas while tapping away on their phones. If Prius drivers were antelope on the Serengeti, they'd all be eaten by lions within 2 days.

My high school very good friend Neville's car. A Skoda :(
He was driving down a hill when the gearbox/diff/something locked up. It went into a skid with the wheels locked up, off the road, through a fence and nearly into a river. I said to Neville "f' that car it nearly killed you." He said "Don't knock it, it's the only car I've made a profit on. A tow truck driver phoned me and offered me $50. Still down the bank LOL" |
50 bucks for an old Skoda sounds like a deal... From memory they had Lucas electrics. lol ;)

Stupid CVT overheated on a road trip through the "hills" in flat as a runway model Kansas. I like small cars like an original Mini or (real or otherwise) Cobra, TR6. I do not like small cars like Smart, Aveo, Sprint, the 80's Le Mans and so on and so forth. A Neon ACR I could put up with because they were pretty good drivers for their day and won lots of Showroom Stock over the years. |

We had an '82 Ford Fairmont for a few years after our second son was born... it was cheap and had 4 doors... super easy to load them in the back. 200 c.i. six with a ONE BARREL carb.
Not this one, but ours was the same snoozy color of grey with the burgundy vinyl interior. I put gas shocks and big fat Vredestein blackwalls on it. Huge trunk. Could barely get out of its own way. A fond memory: it carried me and 3 friends to the Daytona 24 in '86 for that epic race. Also made a coupla trips to Disney world. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1636740774.jpg |

I am posting with Tapatalk, and it does not show post count. I likely would not have replied If I saw his post count. It is a decent question however. |

I laughed at the mention of a Saturn. We tested one but found it almost unfinished. A buddy had a SL1. I gave him a drive to work one day and he remarked how quiet my car was. I replied, "Joe, this is a diesel "
