Snakes in a house!

Find a snake in your house? Kill it with fire!

Maryland homeowners burned down their home while attempting to rid the house of snakes

"The status of the snakes is unknown, but as the home was left in rubble, it's assumed they no longer live there."

I think that's a win then.

Eh, it happens. All of my local in/on the house snakes have been rat snakes (yellow or black). Had a few rattlers in the yard, got rid of brush piles and fixed that.

I would think it might be better to hire a professional vermin and snake hunter to find the snakes and their source of food. But burning down the house works, just kinda overkill.

Insane. They recently purchased the 10,000 square foot house for $1.8 million dollars, and now they've caused a million dollars in damages. You'd think that if they could afford the house, they could afford to have someone get rid of the snakes.

Sounds like they could and did, in the form of insurance premiums.
