The Harder They Fall
Looking for a good western and found this last night.
OMG what pile of garbage. If the pandering wasn't bad enough the half assed Tarantino copy cat stuff was worse. Beginning of the movie has a screen that says 'the story is made up but THESE. PEOPLE. EXISTED. or something close to that. Say what? There were really black people in old west times? Is that what this means?

[QUOTE=berettafan;11525158]Looking for a good western...
'Open Range' with Robert Duvall and Kevin Costner maybe the best final shoot-out scene in any movie.

Yes there really were black people in old west times.
The best thing about the movie were the interior shots. It looked like one scene was shot in the very same church Baldwin killed that cinematographer. It was definitely a Tarantino cover and the modern music kept reminding you it was a stupid movie. Zazie Beetz was pretty hot, though. |

Just watch Lonesome Dove again. Or Once Upon a Time in the West.

I really like Clint Eastwood as the preacher in "Pale Rider", and also in "The Outlaw Josie Wales".

I've watched "The Shootist" (1976) many times... 87% on Rotten Tomatoes.
Considering what was happening in John Wayne's life at the time it's a masterpiece.
