Oh yeah, that is a gas powered pressure washer I got for free from one of my BILs. He was going to throw it out, thought it wouldn't run. I put gas in it and miracle of miracles...

The reason I asked is because I have a BGE - I have a Flameboss temp controller on it for long and slow cooks. It has been a game changer. It has a temp sensor for the grill and I can have up to 3 (maybe 4) more probes in the meat.

I typically use 1 probe even if I have multiple slabs of meat in there and then use the Thermopen when the one slab is getting close to done.

I like your smoker box there, my apologies for misunderstanding the initial question, I have no answer for a meat probe, I have a Weber setup for the gas grill and it has 4 meat probes plus a grill temp probe. It is not the fanciest but does the job.

I lean on the Thermopen the most, it has been the best purchase fro my BBQ hobby.

If you have a normal damper on the Dyna Glo, a Thermoworks Signals or Smoke X4 paired with their Billows fan unit would give you air temp control and three meat probes.

Inkbird, wifi. I bought mine used on ebay for half the Amazon price. Has capacity for 4 probes-I use one for smoker temp and others for meat.

Wife got me this last year for my birthday or Christmas, cant remember which. It works very well. Seems quite accurate. Have used it on Roasts, Chicken, Turkey etc and compared to other ones we have. Very happy with it.

That said, in the oven, the probe that came with our Fulgor Stove works amazing as well as a built it "cook to temp" device.

Cheers

I must own 3 or 4 thermopens, all Mk IV's so they're super fast.

I have a iGrill2 (now offered by Weber) for my kamado grill/smoker. It provides Bluetooth connectivity for remote monitoring and supports multiple temperature probes. I gave my brother one and he loves it for his Traeger.

Gents: Thanks for all the input. Really appreciated.

I surfed around the interwebs and found that I could get a replacement probe and wire from AccuRite. Got it yesterday and success, the thing now reads temps again. I won't be sticking it in my grill at 500 degrees anymore.

Happy Holidays to you all.
