Superformance GT40
I swear I need to win a huge lottery, lots of toys out there that I want and this one is definitely on the list.

The ERA versions were awesome and available with a stainless monocoque.

Very nice indeed. I also read that the only fiberglass pieces on the Superformance version are the front and rear clips. The rest is a steel monocoque as well.

HobieMarty, I also lusted over them, until one day at Road Atlanta I had a chance to sit in one.
Let’s just say getting in and out of it was enough to change that! Very nice to look at, maybe I’m just getting too old! |

Yes, if I win a huge lottery, a GT40 of some sort would definitely be on the list.

Same thing for the wonderful Porsche 904. Very cool looking and great race history. Just a very small car. I got to ride in a real one, and it was a fun ride, but I decided then that I was not really interested, and that was in the 1970s when they are not just insane prices, and I was young and limber.
