MSN's News Video Commercial / Loop-Back Nonsense

Has anyone noticed this? I'm not talking about the obvious ads and click-bait crap. Here's how it goes:

1) Select the news video short-cut
2) Said selected video / page list screen pops up, but goes blank then to a commercial
3) Commercial(s) finished, the main video goes immediately to the second video on the list.
4) Look to the index of videos to the right, and the one you chose was at the top, now is gone. WTF?
5) So you now page back, then forward and by some miracle, you might actually get to view the original news video you wanted to see..........but wait, there's more nonsense.
6) In the video progress bar at the bottom, there is a line / commercial break about 20 seconds or so in, every time
7) At that mark, the video halts, the progress wheel pops up and sits there and churns.....until you get tired of waiting.
8) This is from any device or location..........what gives?

Most modern "news" websites are crap and a PITA.

Most are riddled with java script for many, many other sites.

Post a link to something specific and I'll see what my results are.

Just go to MSN, pick a video news link ( not ad related) then watch what happens

For ANY web site I go to, if ads start blocking the content, I just close it. I can find that news item on some other site. I just don't play that game. Eff em. Life is too short. They will see a web visit of a few seconds and closed on their stats, and if enough people do that, they will change and even better, the search engines will lower their ranking.

Just close the site and go somewhere else.

As Pmax suggested, use an ad blocker. I use uBlock Origin wifh Firefox. I've been using an ad blocker for so long that I had no idea Youtube shows commercials before playing videos.
