Most parking lots are single lines, but I occasionally run into some that have double lines. It does help. I'm sure we don't have the market cornered, but around here, you can very nearly get blocked into a park if a kind cab dually parks next to you at an angle with their rear end overlapping your park by a 6-12" because they are at an angle in a park that's meant to be straight.

I've known folks that drove large trucks that could put them in a spot straight and perfectly centered. Then I've seen other folks that couldn't do it to save their lives.

I'll say one thing good about the $600k RR SUV; it makes my used Cayenne turbo idea seem downright practical. And really, really cheap.

Nope.

The last time when gas prices were up near 5 bucks, you couldn't give those 80s away. I saw clean ones for 4000 bucks. That's when I decided to just give mine away to my workman since he's been a good boy for many years. but it died in an accident with a young lady on her cell phone while running a complete red. I suspect they will continue to go up. IMO, the 80s are the best of the bunch.

I'm one of those nuts that has to be centered, and if I get out and am not, I climb right back in and center it. But I am also one of those guys who take the shopping cart back to where they are supposed to be.

My 1999 F250 diesel was incapable of turning into a parking spot, and nearly impossible to get out without a spotter. My 2004 diesel Excursion turns much tighter and has no problem with most spaces.

I don’t know why, but it’s easier to back my 2014 F150 into a parking spot, than driving in and then back out. For some reason, the turning radius isn’t the same backing out. 😂

I've found when you're backing into a parking space you have something to aim for so it seems easier. When you're backing out in a busy car park you also have to be aware of pedestrians.

My Duramax crew cab, 8' bed is like turning an aircraft carrier. It is impossible to pull in forward in one try with cars next to me in the stall. I have to back up at least once if not twice or three time to get it straight given our parking spaces are striped for the Honda Fit. In the muti-level parking lots with cars going by all times and narrow passage lanes between two rolls of park cars, its impossible to get that damn thing in there without being honked at. Bastards. So, i don't even try in those types of parking lots anymore. Backing in, I can get it in one try. Having the turning wheels pushing the rear in place is much more maneuverable. My Cummins Diesel, extend cab, 8' bed had a much better turning radius but that's not saying much but at least, I can park the thing head in without much fuss, usually I have to back it up twice, that's it.
