Swarzenegger in crash
Sounds very serious, not for him, women hurt

I sure looks like the red car is in the wrong lane to be going that way. And the Porsche Taycan was involved by following too close.
No doubt he will be sued for his deep pockets regardless of fault. I am sure the cops will sort out what happened. |
His net worth is $400M
He should be ok...I think. ;) |

Looks like the SUV is repairable. |

Still $400M sounds low. His movies have made a lot of money over the years.
But then again how accurate are the online estimates of someones wealth? |

Tom Hanks is worth $400M as well. |
I hope the injured lady recovers. That Prius is done for.

Um...geniuses...
He's insured.
That said, his rates are about to go up. God only knows how he wound up in this configuration or why the Prius is in the part of the road that it is? Even I have enough insurance to cover all of the damage I see in the photos. And the woman in the Prius, (who may be found at fault), was not seriously injured. Look at the photos...he obviously jerked his steering wheel to the left to avoid her and would up lifting the right side of his battleship as he hit her. There is very little evidence of impact on the Prius, he just sort of drove up onto her hood at low speed. |
I think those two cars are completely spun around by the force of the impact. That's a T-intersection. Cars (going straight) will be doing 30-50 mph on that stretch of Sunset. Supposedly Arnold was making a left turn onto the smaller street (can't recall the name off the top of my head), and the oncoming Prius was going straight. Maybe the sun was in his eyes. It was about 5 pm and he was facing west. Maybe Arnold had the green arrow--or not. But those cars are completely not pointing in the directions they were initially traveling. Hope the woman's injuries aren't too serious. She was bleeding from the head, reports say.

I'm very familiar with the intersection, (used to live a short distance away), and I think that Arnold was heading north on Allenford, about to turn left or west onto Sunset. Everyone is in a rush and traffic is heavy at that time of day, so it's normal to be moving along but not recklessly. I think that the Prius was for some reason where it should not have been, maybe making a U-turn on Sunset as her light turned red. She caught him by surprise as he had the light and the slow-motion train wreck occurred. That's my armchair guess, anyhow. I have a lot of time on my hands this week. :) Funny thing is, because I'm stuck at home with Covid and bored out of my mind, I flipped on the local police scanner on my iPhone yesterday and heard this accident broadcasted in full as it was called in. They of course said nothing about Arnold on the radio but they did request a supervisor. |
Good thing he wasn't in the Hummer...or maybe he was gettin one

^^^ Speeder
If you happen to see Arnold....ask him what his net worth is. SmileWavy It bothers me that he passed me. |
Isn’t he a big real estate investor? I suppose Maria is now as well, though.

Low speed impact, for sure.
Looks to me the Pruis was turning right onto Allenford. And like all too many drivers, they prob swung waaay too wide to their left into his lane as he was approaching to turn left. He reacted with sharp left-ish action as they collided. Taycan is a jackass close-follower thinking they are more efficient by closing the gap. Douche move. Doubtful he has any fault in this. But hey, where there's an opportunity to grab cash by lying... Back in 2010-ish, I was renewing my Smith System Drive Trainer Certification in San Diego. There were about 6 people in my class. At least 3 classmates asked how I was able to cleanly make turns staying in the appropriate lane. "Simple, I just want to be where I'm supposed to be. I look for the lane markings and stay in them." All blank stares. This is not a Cali thing, it's drivers in general. |

The article I read last night. Halfway down a witness described the accident. |
