The Hoonipigasus is a savage 1400hp Porsche PPIHC Racer!

And we mean it! "Go pig or go home!" Check out the introduction of this beast of a build on Ken Blocks YouTube channel below.

Quote:
Introducing the HOONIPIGASUS! I teamed up with Mobil 1 Racing AND BBi Autosport to build this absolutely INSANE 1400hp 4.0L twin-turbo flat-six engine all-wheel-drive 6-speed Sadev sequential transmission having Vintage 911 racecar! Oh wait, I forgot to mention the GPS-activated height-adjustable suspension, yeah it has that too. Throw a livery from the GucciGhost (@Trouble Andrew) himself and we’ve got ourselves a badass racecar. I’m ridiculously excited to rip this thing at Pikes Peak International Hill Climb this year. Here is everything that went into making this dream a reality! Go pig or go home!

Ugly as a mud fence, but those cats have mad fabrication skills

Any guesses on time to the top of Pikes Peak?

This was posted earlier this week or late last week. Presumably it's essentially an unlimited Pike's Peak car so going to be the automotive version of avant garde.

I'm assuming it's going to be insane, and I can't wait to see it run. It looks like it's sitting low if there are still gravel stages.

Can this chassis (far from stock) even work with 1400 HP?

Interesting car but whoever directed and edited that video needs to be fired.

I can’t wait to see the next trails at full boost. 1500 HP in a 911 seems insane.

The Chaparral 2K Indycar is a glorious exception.

It looked fast even at the couple hundred horsepower warm up runs. That thing is a beast.

Nice piece of engineering for a crowd pleaser Circus.
That clown can drive. Not as fast as his European rallycross clown colleagues though.

I just saw this on Rennlist a couple days ago, but hadn't seen the blown engine. I did wonder when they said "BIGGEST GARRETT TURBOS EVAAAR". I mean, why wouldn't others have done this before? They did say that at elevation the power would be much lower, something like 1000.

A car like that you can't build a couple weeks before an event. A couple years is more like it. I know it is all a bunch of showmanship. If it were me, that thing would be under wraps until I show up at PP and let it rip.

^^ Agreed. Most don’t know how rushed a lot of Peak efforts really are.

Yep, in the end my stock 1985 911 would have made a faster run to the top on race day since they were broken. Lots of publicity from them, and sometimes running a bit more conservative is the correct solution.

There is always next year!
