Nice! That guy shouldn't buy any lottery tickets for a while, because he just used up his quota of luck. Thank goodness that the initial fireball died down to something smaller which gave the guy time to get out.

I think he was trying to cut across to the other side of the road but he balked at the last second.

- I've never seen diesel fuel blow and then burn like that!

from the revised article....

"Amazingly, no one was seriously injured."
Police have not released the identity of the car’s driver, but told local NBC station KARE11 that the person “showed suspected signs of impairment” and is “being processed for driving while impaired.”

'Suspected signs'....lol

The original article said the white car "suddenly lost control" but it was not sudden, it was a simple case of BAD driving. 100% the driver's fault and poor decisions making and bad driving skill. It was not an accident, it was just a wreck caused by bad driving.

I'm surprised a small car can knock a big rig around like that.

A couple thoughts, I drove a truck just like that for 10 years, I always felt safe in it. I guess I was a fool. Also, assuming it's a diesel truck, I'm surprised the fuel ignited that fast. It's possible but not likely it was gasoline.

Mass time velocity squared.

The car was moving at a pretty good clip, and no doubt it startled the truck driver. He likely jerked on the steering wheel.
