Anyone have experience with the inexpensive Chinese car radios with Car Play?

My 911 likely won’t go back on the track anymore. It’s become too valuable and I have other race cars now.

I ordered some speakers for it and am considering installing a new radio (it has an older Kenwood or Pioneer I think). I’m going to 3D print some speaker mounts for it and hang them on the rollbar.

I’m sorta considering a single din deck with car play. This is not a ‘need to have’ and the pain point is not more than $200.

I’ve looked at a few of the ~$100 single din decks but there are typically no reviews or it’s a mixed bag.

Anyone here had one?

To reiterate, I’m not spending more than $200 and this car is not suitable for audiophile type equipment - it is very loud with webers, Bursch exhaust, and no sound deadening.

Double din Dual Carplay in my truck, was a refurb and right around 125 bucks. Has been great-occasionally needs a reboot but no biggie. Only thing it lacks is that the radio software doesn't do song ID, kinda weird given everything else being top notch.

I tried cheap stereos in my cars and the sound quality and functionality sucked.

I love my Blaupunkt Bremen in my 911. It word well with Bluetooth, sounds more than good enough for a stock 85 911 and looks right.

For my El Camino I bought a Retro Sound unit that looks right in the dash, and works well.
