Had a pig's brain sandwich in my youth which didn't taste out of the ordinary.
The last visit (way out in the Naxos sticks) had a real farm-raised bird at an exquisite restaurant. It wasn't anything like the white jello we get here. Dark meat and lean with a strong earthy gamey taste that wasn't unpleasant at all. Tasted like it had been infused with portabello. Just delicious and unique.
