Just want to show you guys an example from another forum about our current Zoomer generation and their attitudes towards work. And believe me this is a mild post.

A message to all boomers who complain about food stamps

People your age run our government right now, you complain that young people use food stamps and buy nice food like steaks and such.

Well my solution to you is to stop *****ing and make our government make access to food a human right or shut the **** up please.

YOUNG PEOPLE CANT SURVIVE OFF $15 AN HOUR FULL TIME ANYMORE BECAUSE THE COST OF THINGS ARE THAT ****ED AND YOU CRY AND CRY BECAUSE YOUNG PEOPLE WANT TO EAT? **** ALL THE WAY OFF WITH THAT BS.

Pro life but let’s cut every social welfare program because there’s no way that stuff is actually helping people. Young people are just a bunch of lazy freeloaders 😤

Edit: Gen X is in there too because I know a lot of you mFs be regurgitating the stuff the boomers be saying.

Oh and you can also add the crying and complaining about stimulus checks and “free money” has made young people not want to work, YOU MOST LIKELY ALSO RECEIVED STIMULUS MONEY AND IF YOU DIDN’T YOU DIDN’T NEED IT SO STFU WITH THAT BS TOO!

No one wants to work because the boomers and Gen X made America for them. Us younger people have to sit and wait for our turn in the spotlight to run things and get our spot in the “Pecking order”

Fred, I have for a long time regretted that I did not finish college. I wound up serving in the army and then wrenching for 42 years. I have always felt somewhat substandard to those with a degree. That being said, I loved going to work (most of the time) and I was able to make a wonderful living, provide for my family and now find myself retired comfortably. Hang in there, man. Hard work pays off!

People who actually do things are much better off than hundreds of thousands of people who conpleted university with majors that aren't marketable and didn't require a lot of brain power. I know of some of them. A university education doesn't always make somebody better, in fact there is a lot of waste in that system. They are just different paths in life. It's an illusion that people with university educations are better.

I don't compare myself to others, otherwise I'd feel like a major fail. But rather, I compare myself to how I expected to end up (son of the town drunk etc) and I'm quite pleased about things.

If I had it all to do over again, I could make some better decisions and improve substantially on my overall performance. But I don't want to do that and I don't think in terms of regrets. I am happy and secure. They say you don't regret what you did so much as you regret what you did not do. Like the song says, when I had a chance to sit one out or dance, I danced. I retired as of May 31. Got married in April. We plan to travel. Life is good.
