If I was seriously worried, I wouldn't go near the place. Have it on hand now, and will be trying it tonight.

Just finished a late lunch. A halved baked potato with a generous dollop of Lipton onion soup/sour cream mix on each, salt and pepper. Scrumptious with an ice cold Pilsner

Steve, this stuff is great, but really addicting. We had a large steak to go on the grill tonight, so we only had a few Tostito loads prior. We'll see if it lasts to the weekend. Thanks(?) for the tip.

I usually make my own on that stuff.
Sun dried tomatoes, roasted peppers, garlic and whatever else comes out of the back yard with cream cheese in a food processor, add salt to taste Wife used to make this cheese dip when we lived on the lake. Jimmy Dean sausage, cooked and drain grease, can of Rotel and a chunk of velveeta in a crock pot. Paired nicely with tortilla chips and Shiner Bock, I must say. When my daughter was about 12, she came out to visit. My wife took her to the grocery store, bought a bunch of food and was making dinner. Daughter was fascinated, the ex was not much of a cook. Taught her how to cook a lot of stuff while she was there, easy stuff like biscuits and gravy, potato skins, pizza, cheese cake, chocolate chip cookies. When she got out the avocadoes, daughter looked puzzled. When the guacamole was done, daughter said, "I thought that just came in a tub." Wife just about fell out laughing. Oh yeah, you take a brick of cream cheese, pour some cocktail sauce over it and toss some canned crab meat on top, serve it on a plate with some crackers, nice zero prep appetizer.

That's my 'go to' dip for fall football tv games....except I use the whipped cream cheese and mix it all in a bowl for dipping with tortilla chips. Sometimes throw some small cooked shrimp in it also....yumm!

Found it this morning. Right near the deli. I was picturing a taller tub but it's wider and shallow.
It's tasty and very rich, surely from the cream cheese. ![]()

It's tasty and very rich, surely from the cream cheese. I was back there yesterday and picked up this one....There's more in it for the same price...but I think the Burnt Ends is better. ![]()
