Seriously though...I really like your head coach CJH and have always liked Hendon Hooker since he transferred in from VaTech. I think you'll have a good season this year. Takes a while to rebuild and like Florida you've had the misfortune of having several head coaches who just didn't have the right management and performance ability.

I was hoping to see GA State vs UofSC at 7:30 on Saturday... not sure how to get ESPN+ but may be able to get it online since we have ESPN and ESPN2 with our Spectrum package.

We have the SEC network... is SEC+ that alternate SEC channel they use sometimes to finish a game if it runs long or is it an exclusively online channel like most of the + channels?

So - you have to first have a streaming device. I have an Amazon TV box.

There's a link to "subscribe to ESPN+ only" right underneath the big yellow "Disney" button:

I don't use a smart phone so not sure how that works. I guess there's a APP for it.

Once you get things set up you get charged every month unless you unsubscribe. I have had my subscription now for over a year and like being able to get games that are not on a regular cable channel - especially during base and basketball season.

Thanks, Baz... I'm not gonna subscribe for what may only be a couple of games per season... I'll check with friends to see if they've got either of those channels. If not I may go to a sports bar or just listen to the game on radio. Miz Toe is visiting family in GA this weekend where she will be watching the UGA game with them!

There's plenty of good games on the non-streaming channels anyway.

Listening to the game on the radio is also a great idea. I have one of those old Magnavox console stereos in my garage and remember plenty of times I had the/a game on while I worked on stuff and it was fantastic. Some of those play-byplay announcers are the stuff of legend!

I always loved listening to Eli Gold call the Bama games on the radio. Sadly, he will not be calling the games this season due to health issues.

How in the hell can Purdue's QB be eligible? 6yr Sr., graduated last spring (Masters). I looked, but found no information whether he is pursuing a doctorate.

Jist tuned in and watching the Halftime Report. Man, I am so ready for this season. I always watch "SEC Now" after the games.

Tennessee did what they needed to do, but I am concerned about Tennessee's lack of pressure on the Ball State quarterback (no sacks, plenty of time to throw) and the secondary - Ball State guys were wide open many times.

But, can't complain. SmileWavy

Next week at Pitt will be a much better indicator.
