I record the games and watch them without
all the commercials and 5 minute delays it takes to do a 5 second review of a bad call. Interesting enough, once you take out all the BS it only takes about 1-1/2 hours to watch a 3-1/2 hour game. |

I have a BIL that is a Texas grad and has season tickets. He is trying to keep a brave face on for the Bama game.
I don't see it going well for him, or them. |

Just seeing the players on the sidelines made me think some of them are now in charge, or at least think they are in charge. This is going to get worse, not sure if it will get better though. The first one that tells a coach to pound sand and drives to practice in a Ferrari and the entire thing may collapse. Obvs, they won't be telling Saban or Dabo and a few others to pound sand but it will happen. |

Ever since the '09 BCS National Championship Game, when Colt McCoy was injured after being hit from behind by Alabama's 296-pound defensive end Marcell Dareus. I think it was the 5th play of the game. Bama went on to win as the second string Texas QB just didn't do well at all. So then....instead of Alabama enjoyed the fruits of their labors as any team would after winning a National Championship.....next thing ya know there is a lot of "If Colt McCoy hadn't gotten hurt." stuff going around. Thus tainting their victory. Texans not happy. Bamans not happy. Then there was a bunch of talk about Texas hiring Saban away. Turned out to be just rumours. But that didn't sit well at ALL on top of everything else. Now Bama's former OC Sark is the HC at Texas. Now the people at Alabama loved Sark, as he did a great job while there. And he didn't try to poach a bunch of staff and players from Bama after leaving - like another former Bama coordinator (allegedly) did - who shall remain nameless...:D Should be a great game though even if one-sided. Lot of crazy history between the two programs. In addition to what I mentioned..... Also I like that it's an early game this time and doesn't conflict with my Gator/Kentucky game! |

I knew the Cards were gonna score. How big is that FG now?
17-14 Cards lead w/2:46 left in the 3rd.... |
6:30 left now. Cards up 20-14 and driving.....
|
Cards hang on to win......20-14!
Lot of great football tomorrow.....see ya in the morning! :) |
I'm gonna miss my Bama game today because I will be at work, [emoji853]. I will have to keep up with it on my breaks and catch any highlights tonight. Roll Tide!!! https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...133e9410f7.jpg

More reason to hate Alabama even more. |
Saban gonna blow a gasket.
|
He's definitely going to be looking for a new offensive line. Score should be 15-10 Texas. That was a safety.
|
Saban gets his "no call" on the flagrant facemask Texas at the Bama 7. Had to settle for a field goal. Remember that "no call" sports fans! Texas 16 Bammers 10.
