Trying to get my wife to give up her MDX so we can get one of those. There's something about the MDX I just don't like.

We sold our 997.2 C4s 6-speed coupe about 3 years ago and we do not miss it at all. It was my wife's DD and we replaced it with a Macan GTS. We have owned about 6 911's and if I were to buy another, it would be a toss-up between an '89 G50 Coupe or a '98 993 S coupe. Love them both. But I do not see us ever buying another new 911. Just gotten too big and expensive. On the other hand, every time I drive my '71 914-6 I smile.

Can relate. Will be winter driving a '13 Pilot. It's a reliable vehicle for winter here (cold, snow, ice...) but is a pretty sterile driving experience.

The Macan is kind of tight inside compared to the MDX. I also have a Stelvio and the Stelvio drives better than the Macan. The Stelvio is more sporty and tossable, while the Macan is more on the luxury side.
