If adjusting Left/Right..loosen In/Out first and tighten that last.

The downside to that style is there is a gap behind them to the side of the cabinet.
If they are accidentally knocked with a heavy pan, it could act as a fulcrum and tear the mounting screws.

FWIW I hate installing hinges. I never, NEVER get them in perfectly.

I finally got around to trying to install my new parts.

The slides looked like it was going to be really easy, but the brackets on my current slides are smaller than the new ones, so I will have to buy new brackets and make sure everything lines up.

I bought one set of door hinges. Replacing those looks easier than the slides, but it looks like I will need a different plate as they stick out a bit. What part should I get so it aligns correctly? Below is a picture where it sticks out.

Also, one of the hinges didn't seat well. Is there are trick to those?

Plug old holes with a bit of glue and a large toothpick. Push those tabs all the way tight up against the cabinet edge. They are preset for your hinge. Pre-drill and insert new screw. Adj from there.

Can't see the bottom, too big or close

+1 i've made my own shim on occasion to close up that gap on the back side of those long styles.

Can’t you order a hinge with different backspacing (for lack of a better word)?

Edit: I would probably drill a pilot hole for fear of splitting the wood, after moving them in that much.
