****** Cayenne

So, my Cayenne project was coming to an end after doing the AC condensor with the miserable to get to bolts, the valve cover gaskets (also with miserable to get to bolts), plugs while I was in there, and a very overdue oil change (based on the look of the filter element).

The god damned hood won’t open to let me put oil in. It seems that the release mechanism may have come disconnected while I had the front end all apart for the AC repair…

I only have 5 beers (3 now) and I’m just pissed off.

I know how to fix it but it’s going to be added misery.

Anyone want a Cayenne S with recent maintenance and AC that blows cold?

Nothing on the vehicle broken or bent. I used a inflatable bladder like the tow trucks have for key lockouts, an endoscope, ratchet wrench, bent socket rail, long screw slot driver, 2 bent welding rods, and lots of patience and help from my wife and son.

Yeah but I would have drilled the hole in the wrong spot twice.

Glad you got it open.

That reminds me of the busted spark plug saga on my 2010 Cayman. Huge p.i.a. Lots of patience required. Good job unclebilly!
