You missed something. Although I think it's more commonly called the G-series. Unless you're talking about the GM G-body.

It's the "bellows bumpers" cars.

Wow, Porsche made that image BIG!

I uploaded a copy so it's shrunk down to something manageable.

Non-Porsche people don't know what a G-Series is. So I just describe it as a "Porsche looking Porsche", and they say I know what you mean.

I've never heard of a G-Series Porsche. I thought I was a Porsche person, especially since my father sold them while I was growing up.

You're clearly going to have to kick it up a notch if you don't want to be moved to the poser category.

Where's my next book in the series!

Yeah, I never really knew the A B C's of it either. I think I learnt it here on PelicanParts.

I was chatting with a buddy that sold his 80 911 SC back in 1996 for 18K and he thought he got top money. He said the the next day after it was sold, the prices started to go up. I thanked him profusely for making my car triple in value since I bought it in 1995.

If you're talking about my book, The Lottery Losers, I do have a plan for a prequel and a sequel. The prequel would be about the Great Collapse, but I like the sequel more. It would take place 999 years in the future as a certain person's 100th birthday approaches. Only it's really his 1000th birthday. One of a large group of people who believe in the myth of one or more "immortals" interviews him and gets a first hand account about how civilization was re-built.

OK, back to the G-Series.

No, the A B and Cs are 356s, not 911s....

I smile when I think that my 911 is called a G body by Porsche, and my El Camino is called a G body by GM. Both vehicles have what the owners call a "smugglers box" and my two examples are both white with a burgundy interior.

And both have for tires! One vehicle is for hauling stuff, and one is for hauling ass.
