Purosangue - Added Honda E
Ho hum... I'm not sure what to think but Chris makes some interesting points.
Ferrari needs to sell cars and he think Enzo would have approved because he would have had more money for racing. (I didn't include a photo because there's plenty of them online and frankly it doesn't do much for me but I may consider one second hand at some point in the future.)

It's Italian for "Thoroughbred".

I remember when Porsche announced thet they were going to make a SUV the cries of we don't want a Porsche truck were loud. The Cayenne and now the Macan have made Porsche lots of money and helps secure the sports cars with funding for more improvements. They are cash cows.
We went "to the dark side" when my wife said she wanted a Macan. It is the first SUV I have ever owned, and she absolutely loves it. I still think of it as her car. She ordered exactly what she wanted, and it has been a great vehicle and fits our needs perfectly. She had driven Mercedes in the past but her last car was an Infinity G35x that was a decent car, but it was a boring vehicle that had terrible gas mileage. Every car maker that sees the success and demand for the SUVs has to sit up and take notice of those profits going to other companies.

We do more with our vehicles now than ever before. They are extensions of our hobbies, or imagined hobbies. SUVs represent that much more than the “sedans” of the past. I don’t decry any manufacturer capturing that market.
I am unlikely to buy a Ferrari SUV. But kudos to those that do. |

I counted 12 SUVs or CUVs, one after another, on the large, curved on-ramp today, including my 4 runner and not one car and no pick up truck.

Well if anything it makes sense, SUV's are easier to load on a car ambulance, they have decent ground clearance.. So they can haul em back to the dealership much easier to get em repair after yet another breakdown. After all it's still a Ferrari isn't it.

It means the same thing as thouroughbred, aka a horse that has pure blood from ancestors, fully known pedigree with paperwork to back it up If French It would be "de race" (which would be mis interpreted and sound wrong for an SUV) or for German "der rasse" Which well, difficult subject, again could end up lost in translation :P

I can't imagine I would ever have a Ferrari SUV but the Lamborghini looks really nice and it's a Porsche (VW) underneath so maybe it's somewhat reliable.
I must admit, I've only just become aware of Chris Harris. Sure I'd seen the occasional video of him but I don't watch Top Gear and I never saw him as any different than the other dozen or more people doing auto videos but recently I've been looking for his videos and there are some really good ones out there.

And here it is... Rather cool but I prefer the R-R Cullinan.

![]() That said, if I were going for a Italian SUV, I'd get a Urus or Stelvio Quadrifoglio.

I can imagine buying an Italian vehicle, but it would be a bike or a sports car

Probably going to attract a lot of attention on the street and at car shows.
