This detergent seriously de-funkified my work-out wear......
Some of my shirts developed really crusty funky pits, that Tide or whatever just up and ran away from... Try Hexperformance ..it works At least on My Under Armor and other work out stuff... I bet it can handle some hats

I totally get the struggle with stinky hats! I recently had the same issue with a few of mine. I tried everything, but nothing seemed to work until I came across Hexperformance. This stuff is a game-changer! My workout gear, especially my Under Armour stuff, used to have that lingering funk no matter how many times I washed it. But Hexperformance totally de-funkified it all. It's amazing! I'm new to this forum, so it's great to see helpful tips being shared. By the way, if you ever need custom headwear, check out matohash.com. They have some cool options that might interest you.

Bill's tea tree oil trick is the ticket
Aka melaleuca oil There is also a plastic hat protector available that clips around hat to protect it while washing. I use the dishwasher, MFer gets screaming hot

Soak it in vodka.
Even if it doesn't get the smell out, a vodka soaked hat is badass.

Also spray with carb cleaner. It's a car website after all.

Benefect. Completely deodorized my fire/smoke damaged 911. Great stuff.

Yep, they are more frequent. And it's weird, they create an account, and may post a couple of times and then come back a year or two later, and then come back a year or two later.
