When someone gives you the wrong phone number…

I was given a name and phone number for the head of the ARB in a neighborhood, where we are going to build a house. I left several voicemails without response and finally texted him. I said who I was, who I was with and gave him my phone number.

He asked for a picture to verify.

I thought, that’s strange, how is he going to verify it’s me when we’ve never met.

So, I sent him a picture of me holding Sunday’s paper in front of my face. And added, now send me a picture of you so I can verify.

He replied, Send a full pic with your face on, thanks.

I said back in affect, don’t you think it’s ridiculous you’re asking for my picture when you don’t know what I look like. Can we just meet at the lot?

I emailed the selling agent again and it turns out he gave me the wrong phone number.🙄

So, the weirdo I texted has my name and phone number, but at least he doesn’t know what I look like. 😅

Now I’m thinking, A, block him and delete the text or B, sending him a funny picture of some thing, like a famous person, picture of a jack ass, etc.

I'd start writing his phone number in bathroom stalls of shady establishments. "For a good time, call..."

That’s true. I have his phone number as well.

An Internet search all the shows that the phone is located at Folly Beach. No names.

I would take the picture of your face holding the newspaper and add a caption "Have you seen this man? Last seen on (date of newspaper). Reward: Contact (the guy) at phone number xxx-xxx-xxxx.

Put on some social media sites for 24 hours then take it down.

The guys phone will blow up like he has never seen.

Or give his number out and tell everyone to contact him regarding missing man (your name). He will wig out.

A friend of mine made flyers: "Chewbacca Roaring Contest" and left another friend's cellphone number at the bottom. Then she really did post them all over the area. Evelyn said she was getting phone calls for months with people just howling into the phone like a Wookie.
