I've just seen a Singer.
Wow, just wow.
It's so tastefully set up. Everything is so nicely done. Nicely minimal but without being stark. The engine bay doesn't have a whole lotta things. I think it was a 3.4, and with independent throttle bodies and painted an amazing khaki color. The quality of the paint was so shinny it was perfect. I was really impressed. |

I think one.
I stopped at the Porsche place Powerhaus because I saw it and was being nosey but evidently a few 911 enthusiasts new it was around. A nice car in RHD which is what we have around here. |

Yes RHD, I would say the owner set the spec's or sent his car over for the makeover.
What I liked about it was it's very tasteful makeover. Nothing bling, nothing plastic, sort of a utilitarian functionality about it blended with a very definite style. Haha, nice and new and clean. Everything was so new. New, but not plastic like a modern car. |

Saw a few of them at Rennsport. The fit and finish is incredible. Like if Rolex made a car...

Peter, the steering wheel is on the wrong side
I would have them do a 914 for me.

Never have seen one. But then, considering my current out and abouts, don't expect to. From the net pics I've seen, definitely unique cars. Lovely to look at, like a pin up model. And like such a model, absolutely no desire to possess. At my current stage of life, the less hassles, the better.

I may be the only dissenting opinion... While the exteriors are tastefully done, and the performance upgrades are certainly worthwhile, I have always found the interior treatments to be rather gaudy. Some more so than others, but all of them just to busy and complicated. They have given up the understated simplicity of the older air cooled cars and have tried to match the "pop" of some newer, not necessarily Porsche cars.
On top of that, I cannot get past the price. One can buy a lot of car for that kind of money these days. No air cooled 911 is worth anywhere near what they are asking, even if Vic Elford farted in its seat while winning the Monte Carlo. In that case it's purely provenance that adds stupid value for the collectors. Singers don't have that. Gimme a couple of brand new GT3's for that kind of money, thank you very much.

I have not seen one in person but think it would be fun to see the craftsmanship. From the pictures the insides seem a bit over the top like Jeff says. I do prefer the simplicity of the 911 interior up to the 997.

Little doubt they are 100% top notch and "bespoke" made to order cars. Just crazy expensive, but the people in the market for one buy $500 t-shirts, and yachts, and 250,000 watches.
If I won the lottery, I still thing I would go for a RUF personally but that will happen after the US Congress all starts to work on what is best for the country and the citizens and put aside the politics. In other words, never.

I've seen about a dozen of them up close and personal. Nice cars, definitely, and I'm relatively sure one can order the interior as one wishes. Still, though...
I would like to change my order - one new GT3 and one new GT2, please. And I would still have money left over for something like that new V4 Norton...
