I wouldn't want to climb Everest. Not unless there is a nice beach up there with gorgeous Scandinavian girls running around topless.

Even when I was young and healthy the top of Everest just never was a temptation for me. I thought spending a night or two at the base would be a splendid way to cap off a visit to Nepal.

Ms. Rocket went to Nepal and Basecamp about 89. Did some kayaking while she was there as well.
