Wow, I'm not a motorcycle guy, but that's a nice looking trike! Well done!
|
Thanks Steve. Since my Raleigh is white I'm all set up for my own red, white and blue parade!

Man, that is the same bike. There was a guy who must have lived near Truckee someplace I used to see in the summer sometimes on a HD trike pulling a matching trailer, had a BKA, used to 30-40 years ago, no wonder I have grandkids taller than me. There was a guy that worked at the prosthetics shop here in town that had one of those one liter sport bikes, used a blade for walking around, put a little foot thing on the bottom of the prosthetic to ride. Love bikes, Mom did not.
Are there any modifications you want/need to make to it? I wonder if you could put an electric power assist on the steering head, maybe disable it over 5 mph |

I'm looking at different front tire profiles with an eye for something a bit less flat. I don;t need a high crown tire just something less flat. Too much of a crown would likely lead to tank slappers. I'm also toying with the idea od raising it a bit. The rear is way low but that's not critical. Oh and I'm changing out the stock clutch lever for an adjustable one. Clutch engagement is at the fully out position. |

Well, here I am 6 weeks out from the purchase and the dealer still hasn't completed the inter-state title transfer and registration. Sure they'll keep sending me new temps but dang.
Now get this....i was told that the transfer fees amounted to a couple of hundred dollars. Today I found out it was 2 grand!! 2 freakin' grand!!! If I'd have known that I'd have done it all myself. My BoS didn't capture that cost separately so i don't know how much if not all of it is baked in. The dealer called today and told me it'll be another 6 weeks! Boy am I pissed. |
Flatty, you have every right to be pissed. This bs would piss off Mother Theresa.
I hope this works out for you. As an aside; This LED headlight is uglier than homemade shoes (in my opinion): http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1692732721.jpg |
