I wonder if we even make them that big any more. I think there was a time when the US and USSR were going for size (what was the big one, USSR tsar bomba). I feel like there may have been a global change to move to smaller focused nukes (but that may not be the case).

Our weather has been really strange lately. At 4am this morning... I woke to incredibly loud rolling thunder. Looking out the window the whole sky was white with lightening. The storm must have been directly overhead. Then the rain started and it was so heavy the gutters were overflowing in no time.

Hay Plains, Australia. This area is normally desert.

No doubt humans have a lot to lean still. The first proposal of the quark was a big monkey wrench in physics. The quark was proved to exist, and theory was modified to fit it in, and it made physics more accurate. It helped refine the laws of physics. Same this with the Higgs Boson.

Still the fact that the amount of energy needed to make sound work as any strong effect, requires a lot of energy input. There is no magic amplifier.

TV and movies love the old scene of a lady shooting a bad guy or monster or whatever, and blowing them backwards through a window. Yet the 100 pound woman just stands there. The old equal action - reaction should apply. It would blow her backwards even further. Or the roundhouse kick from the 100 pound super hot chick to the face of a 300 pound professional bodyguard will knock him backwards and she just drops to the ground. It is just movie magic. And we can't apply movie magic to real life.

Microwave ovens are almost magic. A cup of coffee nuked for 30 seconds is boiling hot. But it takes a magnetron and 110 volts and several amps of power to do it.

Tesla was definitely heading in the right direction.
Then he was shamed into bankruptcy.
As were others.

20 minute vid.
Watch the 1 minute intro and see if the vid is worth watching.
Fascinating stuff but its just the beginning.
Sound, freq and vibration is going to be a game changer.

Keanu Reeves used sound to create cold fusion.

Cool sonic weapon featured in The Peripheral:

This will go nicely along with my phased plasma rifle in the 40 watt range.

Surprised this topic hasn't gotten more traction.
Dont understand the concept?
Or just refuse to believe?
Watch the video.
Sound can cure cancer, old timers disease, etc...
Can cut rock, move mountains.
And if you ask jericho, can even tumble down walls.

Supposedly a lab in the Maldives has been conducting research for years and this technology has evolved way beyond infancy.
Personally I am VERY excited about the next few years.

I literally get sick from bass. Whenever I'm driving and some azzbag is around me with bass that will destroy buildings I pull over and let them get as far away from me as possible. I have always been like that but it is now much worse since I went deaf in one ear.

However I do believe that a sonic blast could destroy or at least damage people and structures. Go Tesla

Yes, Tesla's concept of resonant frequencies. A small input at the right frequency can crumble a building. Moving mountains - I'm not so sure. If a mountain is basically a big rock that only requires a narrow band of frequencies to get it resonating it might be possible. A mountain made of rocks and dirt would be very difficult to move with sound.

It is similar to microwaves. It is a energy pulse that causes the object to vibrate. In a microwave, the vibration makes heat. There is no magical increase in the energy required to do the work. Yea, a sound wave at just the right pitch can vibrate a wine glass and break it with vibrations. But the energy needed to produce the sound waves is greater or equal than it would take to to break the glass with a physical tap.

I saw one calculation that the energy pack needed for The Terminator T-100 of Arnold would require a giant radiator. And he had two of them!

Nope, not even close.
Resonance frequency is the sweet spot that defies physics.
Or at least our current understanding of physics.
Then with some geometric amplifiers, zoom zoom!!

By "move mountains" I was metaphorically speaking.
But can be done bit by bit.

Anybody hear about plasmoids?
Next level energy that self replicates.
Wouldn't be surprised if they replace the ICE before full electric.
Only major hurdle is the gubmint.
Too corrupt and too many dont want free energy.

In college, I played in a band. I borrowed another guys bass amp at a club. Long, narrow venue, we were in back. It was a big gallien-kruger amp, similar to Supe’s amp shown earlier.

I couldn’t hear the bass so I turned it up a couple times. People told me they heard me BLOCKS away.

If you match the resonate harmonic, bad things can happen.
