Sounds good. If that’s the first start up, don’t you want to run it at least 30 minutes to break in the cams, etc?

Well, what is missing on the back of the engine is either a torque converter filled w/ fluid or a clutch assy to add to the rotational weight......

Yes, first start up. He plans on using it in a Fairlane 500. Strange as it sound, back in the 60's, Ford offered some dealership installed performance options. Multi Webers was one of them. Can't recall having ever seen it back in the day though. Had to be $pendy as hell.

Very cool! I like that stand, looks like it is adjustable to different engines. Can make something like that yourself too, but I'll check it out.

I love his attire. Flip flops, no ear plugs. His beer belly will probably protect him!

Weber 48IDA carbs are fun to tune and sync.
Kind of amazing if that is the first start that the carb linkage and carbs are synced and tuned that well.
Must have a light flywheel and no clutch for that kind of response.

An engine stand puts no load on the engine so you can't seat the rings on it.
It's really not good for an engine to freewheel on the engine stand, dyno is better.

Our race car has good response but it has a 7 inch diameter dual disc clutch, less rotating mass.
