The PPOT Wife Christmas Gift Idea thread

Gents,

Christmas is closing in. And, do you have a gift picked out that will make the Mrs happy?

I don’t. Hence, this thread.

Here is my best idea: hiking poles. Mrs. LWJ loves to hike.

What else you got?

Add a hiking weekend at a nice resort to the poles.

The wife and I had a deal.

I bought her a (weekend toy) 2000 996 last year . . . and I am exempt from having to buy her ANY gift (Christmas, Valentines, Birthdays) for 5 years. It’s a lot better than buying her jewelry because I get to drive the car too.

Suggestion: Break your deal and buy her something nice anyway! She’ll love it…

She would like a Birkin bag, but they are hard to come by. Maybe some nice 20s for the Macan?

Way ahead of you. . .

She has something shiny in her future.

I should be good for 10 years now.

If she likes hiking poles consider these brands to accessorize those poles:

Patagonia
prAna
Mountain Hardware
Osprey
Athleta
Vuarnet

I gave my wife an early Christmas present - a bidet. I has all kinds of features, heated water & seat, a blue light, bad air filter, etc., etc. She calls it "The best Christmas present ever."

I'm thinking of a brush and mop combo. If I buy as a combo it should cost considerably less than if I bought the two individually and gift wrapped them separately.

Damn! Wish I'd thought of that. Instead, a new vacuum cleaner.

Wife wanted the latest smartwatch, on our case Samsung Watch 5. If you are Apple people then they have one too.

I got lucky this year. My wife loves Vince Gill and his wife Amy Grant and I was able to get us tickets to see their Christmas special that they do at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville on the 20th. floor level five rows from the stage.

I know it has been on her bucket list so I'm sure it will make her happy.

I am stumped. We have a central vacuum cleaner system I put in 24 years ago, just after we bought this house. She has a mop and dusting equipment, dishwasher and washer and dryer.

She has a Macan she loves and it is in perfect condition and looks like new.

She has more jewelry than she want to wear. She is much like me, if she sees something she wants she buys it. She asked me what I want for Christmas and I had no answer, as I buy whatever I want when I see it.

She does not what the hassle of flying off on a vacation. She gets sea sick on a flat bottom boat in calm waters, so a cruise is not on the list.

My wife has been all over the net shopping for a Baggalini. Pricey things! Apparently as a Costco member - you can get discounts of half-off or there abouts.

Last Christmas it finally dawned on me that my missus always fills stockings for our kids and me but her's never has anything in it. I usually do pretty good on the main gift. I actually felt bad after it hit me last year, 30 years on...

So I'm collecting things for her stocking and hope to surprise her this year. Told the kids to pick up a small thing or two as well.
