Dad (81) is still living. Mom passed away on October 10 and I have spent all but 3 days with him since her passing. Right now, we are sorting out an electrical issue, in his garage, on the 944 that I bought from him 20+ years ago. It was all smiles when he drove it a week ago.
I'm going to spend the rest of the holidays with him, then I need to get back home.

22 years since my father passed. In 3 years I'll be the same age (63).
In many ways I have turned into him.

Hasn't been a year for me, still going through all of the "firsts" like, first time I didn't get a call from him on my Birthday, he would always call and sing Happy Birthday to me. Lots of firsts to get through and it really sucks. I srted a new position at my job as a driver on the test track and I find myself always thinking, man I wish I could tell Dad about this. The other day at work I was toggling through the ride controls and stopped on "sport" and then it hit me, Dad always called me Sport, I nearly broke down. Later that day or the next, I was at Autozone picking up a part and there on the counter someone had left a badge from their car and it said "sport" and I thought, someone is trying to tell me something. I gave the badge to the lady at the counter and she knew the man that had left it and said she would give it to him when he came back in.
Yep, hasn't been a year, I miss my Dad. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
