Nice. They did a similar one with all Porsche car models. The Panamera Turbo S beat the Taycan off the line in every run. Panamera TS was fastest off the line, then the 911 Turbo S caught up and blasted everyone. Same engine in the Panamera as that Cayenne Turbo GT.

Not discrediting the porsche magic or anything, but proprietary r componds on an SUV seems a bit ridiculous.

Savagegeese did a great review of turbo gt recently as well

Why would anyone care? Except maybe soccer moms wanting to get to that sale at Target before their neighbor.

Great show, thanks for posting! I love that guy, who is he?

And I thought a 200 treadwear rating was ridiculous for my '10 Cayenne GTS summer tires. 80 is just stupid. But then I can only get to 60 in 6 seconds.

I will say an SUV as a sports car is not a bad thing.

I did not watch the video.

Porsche probably set out to make the fastest SUV, and probably succeeded.

That is one quick Cayenne. 2.8 seconds! I thought 5 seconds in my old SUV was pretty great! Maybe it is time for a new car!

One of the local PCA guys bought a Cayenne GTS for his wife's daily driver. I saw it on the showroom floor after that had done the delivery prep. Carbon fiber roof, and lots of carbon fiber in the cabin. A very impressive vehicle.

I almost bought an '06 Turbo S 2 weeks ago. Supposedly a 4.6 second truck. It had been hit in the front and they put a new bumper cover on but an aftermarket one. Looked normal until you got to the valence area where it looked better on a Honda. Still, $6K, might have been worth getting and putting a proper cover on it. 955s are insanely cheap these days.

I have an 06 Turbo S, my wife drives an 06 Turbo. They are both amazing.

I absolutely love mine, I think it’s the favourite of all the vehicles I’ve owned.

It has performance similar to my Hot Rod Slantnose but had modern vehicle comfort and comfortably seats 4 and can be winter driven.

I used to make fun of the cayenne, after trying one out, we now have 3 in our family…

Do you own a gas station? That's an insane amount of fuel to burn in order to transport one person on daily errands. I'm referring to two early Cayenne turbos for DD duty.

They actually aren’t that bad on gas. Better than my Tundra anyway.

My Turbo S gets better fuel economy than my wife’s Turbo… the ski roof box seems to have really affected hers.
