Lots of bee keepers go commando. It's impressive and crazy. From what I've also seen, some colonies are more aggressive than others. I wonder if this woman checked this one out in gear, determined that they weren't aggressive, and then changed out of her protective gear.

When I was 10 or so, I got home from school one day and noticed our fence along the back of the house looked funny. I went to take a look and stopped and ran back inside in terror. It was a swam of bees on the fence! I was very allergic to bee stings, and once was stun on the end of my little finger, and my entire arm was swollen to my armpit. My mom called some bee keeper and he walked back there in just street clothes. Gathered them up, and said many thanks and left. I was just amazed the anyone would do that. He had bees swarming around him as he got back in the truck so I could not go ask questions. I did not go outside until the next day.

ONLY people with analog watches do that! Look at the watch face, and it is easy to "see" the time is 15 minutes until the hour. I went digital long ago. One of my coworkers was always asking the time, and look at my watch and it is easy to read, 10:37 or 10:52 and give a precise time. It always bugged him, and he just wanted to know approximately what the time was, I told him to the minute. Then I started adding in the seconds as well when he asked.
