Married..the Steyers are both journeyman level pros. To answer the question...a thinner cut than elmer's bacon. You can see the english used by how the cueball came off the end rail. (edit) A huge factor in that shot was in knowing exactly how much cue ball deflection would happen with the amount of english applied. Left english makes the cue ball deflect to the right...but how much? One of the thousands of things about pool that separates skill levels.
