Need help remembering a movie title...

This has been bugging me for days; don't know why, but I need to remember this movie title so I can look it up.

The movie was released sometime in the '90's. The plot centered around a couple living in Los Angeles who find a baby at their doorstep. The movie created a feeling of dread throughout the entire film by having constant emergency vehicle sirens and police helicopter noises in the background. I can't remember the actors in the film.

Anybody remember this one?

I don't think it's either one of those. I don't think Raising Arizona was set in LA, and that doesn't sound like Three Men and a Baby either.

Figured it out - Something about the responses above made me think "Kevin Kline" and that let me track down the movie. Turns out I remembered some details incorrectly (character found the baby while jogging).

The movie is "Grand Canyon".

That's what I was thinking. With Holly Hunter an Danny Glover.

That is an amazing movie that is completely underrated and mostly unknown.

Yes, excellent movie. Really good music score. Makes you feel that something bad is always just around the corner.

Looks unavailable to stream right now. That's surprising.
