Thanks for all the good suggestions everyone. I did end up solving this to my satisfaction.
I bought this, and then cut it and made it fit in the inside: ![]() Here's the finished product. It's functionally comparable to the original one with the exception that the bushing may "walk" through vibration, but I seriously doubt that, and I might put some rubber washer bumpers on each end to support it. Probably not necessary, but I'll see what the local hardware store has (I saw some that would work well the other day). ![]() Thanks! -Wayne
