If Porsche and a Bambi Hooked Up - or, If They Build It, It Will Sell

Just a prototype rendered in computer bits at the moment, my guess is Millennials would flock to one of these:

That is a really good concept. Some people try at stuff like that and it's not too good.

This is good, IMHO. If you could get that to weigh in a 2000 lbs. it would definitely be a winner. Even 3K. Trouble is it's gonna cost $35K even with a 1000 built.

I’m thinking Porsche + Airstream > $35k.

Just going by history, though.

I know, I can paint my Scamp silver and walk away with > $30k!

Yeah, great point. Lightweight is key - esp. with all the smaller Utes and crossovers that will be doing the towing.

$35K??? That's easily $75-100K without options. Obviously not designed for actual camping. It's designed for one-upping Airstreamers who are in-turn trying to one-up everyone else

** referring to new Airstreams that are ridiculously over-priced, not the vintage stuff which is a different genre entirely.

Back in January my wife’s Porsche hooked up with Bambi…

It wasn’t pretty. It wrote off the Cayenne and the deer.

There is a still a 5hit and blood stain on the highway where it happened… the stuff on the door also consists of that concoction…

Well if Porsche does build them you will pay a bunch over invoice and it will take a year to get one.

And you have to buy an Old Yeller before you can get a Bambi.

It’s cute but it’s Airstream, that will be over $100k USD…

My buddy and I were driving through GA yesterday and saw a new Airstream van on the Mercedes chassis yesterday. I had him look it up and it started at $201,000….
