3d modeler/printer guys

I have a set of rims I printed for dad's road car which is a Nissan 300ZX from the 80s. It is now just for display and the rims are the slotted bronze colored Halibrands. They are 1.7"/43mm diameter and 30mm wide. There are lots of tires for those rims, but they all seem to be for off road trucks. I can get 40mm and 24mm wide road tires. So, I need to either figure out how to scale the outside down to fit the other tires or find some 43x30mm tires. I don't know how to scale the diameter without changing the inside where the bearings press in. I can then use the current rims on my stadium truck as I can find many dozens of tires for the truck in that rim size.

Any clues? I like the Protoform tires but I can't find any info on inner diameter.

These from Tamiya would be good but I have to resize the rims for them to fit. I know this because I happen top have a set of these for a different car.

Do you have a model of the rims?

Have you looked on thingiverse?

Yeah, I looked on Thingiverse, I can look again. It is difficult to find any info on tire inside diameter. Some are a different diameter on the inside than the outside.

I would go get a set of touring car rims, but all the touring car are now 4WD with 12MM hex drive. His is an old 2WD that fits Tamiya rims from back in the day.

Is there enough meat on the rims to cut them down 3 mm?
