I found a Smith & Wesson today…

I was walking around a home we just finished building and I went to the right side, to turn the hose bib, on for the sprinkler. I looked down and there it was…a Smith @ Wesson laying on the ground.

I looked around, but did not see anybody, so I took it to my truck, to take a closer look. It looks like it’s been well used but still serviceable.

Looks pretty small, I'm thinking 2.5-3" for the blade. It looks nice and light and relatively sturdy.

That ‘blood’ on the blade may be from sharpening a red pencil… be wary…

Nothing wrong with carrying that around as a pocket utility knife . Clean it up , maybe a little oil and sharpen . Good to go .

I've found one that is close, but it's not is exactly that knife.

Very nice 930, but I think Look's AR15 wins in the "find" category.

Anyone else?

Anyone find a little ole Browning M2 leaning against the garage please enter the competition.

I would say it’s a ~3 inch blade, tops. I’ll take another picture of it tomorrow compared to the knife I use most of the time.

I think Bill is right, the AR15 is the better find so far.

Edit. Not too many guys have been the house since we landscaped. I had some guys replacing some flatwork the other day and have asked their lead guy to ask them if they lost a knife.

The title of this thread along with the words "AR15" and "assault knife" qualifies you for a tax audit with the IRS, FBI wiretap, your business to be marked as supporting a terrorist group, and a prime candidate for a Red Flag law list.

Have the inspections been signed off on?

1.If so- it's yours.
2.If not- you have a valuable bargaining chip.

Use wisely.

I find stuff all the time walking my dogs.

Found a pretty nice little CRKT folding knife, like your S&W, rings, watches, all sorts of useful stuff

Found plenty of syringes, even found a little bag of what I presume was meth one time.

Found a cell phone once, charged it up and called "mom" and dropped the phone in his mailbox the next day. I met the lady who moved in next door to him and she is telling me what decided her on the house was what a nice neighborhood it is, some guy found her neighbor's phone and got it back to him. It was pretty funny.
