Both my nextdoor neighbors are cool, but both have dogs that sometimes make a lot of racket at odd hours. Last week I heard one being taken by a coyote. It was pretty clear cut what was happening to that dog. No more noise from that side of the fence.

Wait, we didn't get any sort of update from the LED stadium lights. But then I guess if you've moved to signal lights, the stadium lights were inadequate.

This whole things reads like the intro to a badly reviewed, but funny black comedy about 2 neighbors whose feud leads to a tragic end for both. I'm thinking Seth Rogen stars with Zac Effron.

Putting the toilet seats in trees makes the pissing contest so much more interesting.

The stadium lights worked well, only had to burn them a couple nights before he realized to what extent I was willing to up the terms of our disagreement. It now goes dark over there by 9-930 at the latest. I have since taken them down and am using them in the garage for over work bench lighting. I suspect his wife finally got involved and told him to stop it. The stadium lights were up on the top of my property pointing directly at their bedroo.

I got the signal beacon from a friend who was moving for pennies on the dollar and may or may not use it on the neighbor as long as he stays correct, and considerate. May just set it on the patio as a prop pointed toward his house to keep him scared straight. I have used it while at my friend's place and it is wicked bright, makes night like day...

Was looking around today and it is likely worth a couple grand so I may look to sell it.

I only have two close neighbors.
One is an 89 year old widow who works outside doing lawn work every day weather permits.
The other side is a 40 year old divorcee.

Both are great and we all get along fine.

neighbour (across the alley).

hi intensity led - lighting up our house

asked him if he could turn it out late at night. he complies. i buy him a nice 40 buck

bottle of wine - in return. next day? light is back on. still on - 3 years later.

other neighbour directly next door - the true nightmare?

two rescue pit bulls from Texas. one of them has attacked me (twice) trying to get under the fence. had to put up a steel fence. now? death curdling yelps all day long .....

he also has a muffler-less Dodge Ram - backed in, pointing at our house. command start - doesn't even leave the house to start it. turns it off 20 or so minutes later - having never left the house.

he also burns wood (illegal here). we cannot even open our windows. he sits out there until 11 pm 300 days/yr minimum, rain or shine - drinking- has a jack shack with a big exterior wall mounted 55" tv. and a bar. volume cranked up. his meat smoker also runs approximately 15 hrs/week.

he is an oversized redneck - the entire 'hood is scared of him. what else? - he had it out with the neighbour for parking in front of his house. guy had a brand new black 7 series BMW. redneck waits until the car is parked in front of OUR house - proceeds to slather the car, end-to-end with mustard. i had noted the prick cooking sausages at 11 pm next to the jack shack - mustard in plain view.

and - he is a city worker - somehow plays "hooky" - spends most of his day at home. and - he has an in with the city bylaw officers.

the house was a recent purchase - we viewed it twice - both times the dogs were nowhere on the property - we would NEVER have proceeded otherwise. turn out the lady who owned our house was in cahoots with him.

new (illegal) airBnb across the street?

hi intensity led porch light on 24 hrs/day. i asked him if he could turn it off later in the evening - he laughed at me, drove away. now we have to keep our drapes closed at night.
I'm guessing he didn't like the wine.

considering piling my collected dog do just on my property where he can see it when he runs the backpack blower ever couple days. i'd love to pellet gun a couple of his lights, but that would be a crime and he'd love seeing me get hooked up and hauled off... passive aggressive? you bet!
A nice solution would be a light detector pointed at his lights, which switches your floodlights on and off with his. That way he can choose for himself whether to have them on or not.

It won't scare him it'll rub up a raw nerve and motivate him to contemplate ways of stressing his adversary.
