I had an appointment just today to have my hair cut. Under normal conditions it is a 10 or 11 minute drive. Today it was raining so I padded in some extra time and left 20 minutes before the appointment to factor in the possibility of crashes from morons that don't believe in physics and the lack of traction in rain.

One mile from my house some absolute fool driving way illegal speeds likely died or killed someone as one of the two cars was torn half. The other car was an unrecognizable twist of metal. The police were there directing traffic, the fire department had the northbound lanes blocked and were cutting the cars open and the ambulance was there. For me, I had to drive another mile west to a busy road, then a mile north and back east just to get to go north to my destination. Nothing at all compared to the tragedy some families are dealing with today. I still arrived with 4 minutes to spare.

One other universal trait I've noticed in these guys - they always try to put it back on the rest of the group. "What's the hurry?", or "why are you guys always in such a rush?".
That's what you call mild gaslighting.

It has taken you 60 minutes to get ready for the last 20 years. Yet you always think it will be 15.
Yes, there are folks that think "Task A takes 15 mins to perform" except that the same person does task A frequently, and it NEVER takes them ONLY 15 mins. I don't understand that either.

Worked every time...
LOL! Fantastic! Hopefully, uneditted with loud background audio. You sitting int he car in line waiting your turn to go with the radio on, cars revving, wind through the windows, then exhaust sound as you hit the track.
