Why risk it when you can clone yourself and live in a nice comfy pod while your clone is out there doing the shyt work. Transmit back to interesting stuff...thats what all the smart aliens are doing

Yeah, I kind of wondered about this too. Maybe they just engineered an organic "pilot" species to fly their information gathering drones around.

We send unmanned craft first, and we aren't that smart.
No doubt a truly intelligent species would do the same.
However, I still believe in the non ET theory.

How would we know what a "truly intelligent species" would do?

We are 2% different than chimps DNA wise, yet the difference is dramatic...If an alien species were only 2% different than us in the same direction, well, I'm not sure we would even know they were there. Their tech would be so much greater.

But would their civilization and resources have lasted long enough to develop such capabilities? We're nowhere near that level of technology and our planet seems to already be buckling under the weight of humanity.

Well, I’m basing the assumption that they made it here so, yes.

That's because humans are wasteful destroyers.
We could *easily tap into earths natural harmonics and provide free clean energy.
But too many rich and powerful folks depend on those destructive industries for their wealth.

Humans are similar to a virus on an otherwise healthy planet.
