Pallesthesia in the foot

I’m sitting on the couch and feel a vibration in the floor through my left foot. My wife is running the washing machine so I figured it was that. Washing stops and I still feel it so I go to basement and check the plumbing and everything else. All is still and I’m feeling vibration while standing on concrete so something ain’t right

I googled it and I guess I have pallesthesia. I hope it goes away or at least doesn’t spread because it is annoying as hell

Anyone else afflicted ? Lots of causes I see

Probably a posterior tibila nerve impingement. Do you have flat feet?

paresthesia

Nope. Do have diabetes though. Maybe related? Woke up today and it’s gone….for now

This is what I was reading

Yes, diabetes related. Proceed as if your feet are numb and you would be unaware of stepping on a nail. Inspect your feet daily, wear light colored socks and see an eye doctor annually. If you smoke, you should either stop or shoot yourself in the head. Diabetic smoker is a bad combo

me neither and my eyes are buried in medical records daily for 25 years

what’s weird is that the vibrations were pulsing in the same rhythm as the washing machine oscillation. probably my heart beat giving that effect

anyway it’s gone today

Unlikely to be related to your Pallesthesia...but I wake-up every morning with 'needles and pins' feeling in both feet, which turn into a slight numbness until I get active for the day.
Mine is caused by the Kyphoplasty back surgery I had a little over a year ago. It doesn't improve nor get worse for me. I can live with it. Nerves do strange things.

Hmmm. My own foot abnormality manifests itself as a sort of "pins and needles " in the region of the metatarsal arch. No numbness, but it "feels swollen " although there is no swelling. Diabetes has been ruled out

Ain't getting older fascinating?

Best

Are you playing enough Grateful Dead? Seriously - that's important!

Feel better soon, RF!
