Frivolous Question - Your Dream Private Jet

Suppose you were both stunningly wealthy and connected, and could both afford and obtain any extant aircraft for your private jet. "Extant", so can't say XB70 or Space Shuttle.

What would you, in this frivolous fantasy, choose?

If it ain't Boeing, I ain't going.

Make mine a BBJ737, then I'll let someone with impeccable taste appoint the interior.

(And to make it even more frivolous, I'll rarely go anywhere, but it will be in a private hanger as amazingly cool as the Nike hangers in Hillsboro.)

The largest Boeing that could take off and land at smaller private airstrips.

For personal transport I really don't see the need for super fast, etc.

So I'd find a WW2 bomber of some ilk and restomod it so at least the former bomb bay could carry a few people in comfort.

Or since I like to fish so much a floater of some type, like this Albatross - https://www.platinumfighters.com/inventory/1954-grumman-hu-16c-albatross/

For cross ocean, etc (something I wouldn't really be doing I don't think.... don't dream of it now....) I'd just charter.

If I had a reason for go-fast single person that same website above has a few Mig 21s and a F4H Phantom listed.... I'd be willing to learn to fly

Own one of them? No way. Let someone else deal with the challenges of ownership. I'll charter, thank you.

Musk and Bezos both have Gulfstream G650. They've been around plenty of aircraft.
https://www.scmp.com/magazines/style/celebrity/article/3167545/inside-elon-musks-us70-million-gulfstream-private-jet

The G650 has 8,600mi range, requires less runway than the super heavies(but 6000ft min), and carries gobs of fuel.
"This, therefore, means that the Gulfstream G650ER is capable of flying from New York to anywhere in North America, South America, Europe, Africa, and most of Asia without needing to refuel."
https://compareprivateplanes.com/articles/embraer-lineage-1000e-vs-gulfstream-g650er

Getting into smaller aircraft, it looks like the Bombardier Challenger 300 is similar to the Citation X in most specs, but beats it in hourly fuel burn.

See, that's the thing. If I could afford a jet, then I would be flying all over the US, to Europe, probably Asia, etc... So yeah, I want fast.

So in the spirit of this thread, since the concord is NLA, I'm going with the B1 bomber. I'm guessing that if we ditch the bombs, there's room for some amenities and more than 4 people.

Have fun without one!

For travel, I'd be happy with a Citation X. If you want go big or go home in corporate jets, you can't go wrong with a Gulfstream G700. But I would probably just charter versus be saddled with the acquisition and maintenance costs of a big jet.

For fun, a T-38. I have logged 1.5 hours in an Edwards Air Force T-38 with an instructor in the back. A memory of a life time...
