Deal with a real life changing event. I spoke to someone once that had been in some sort of an accident, I don't remember exactly what the story was, but the person went through a real life changing event and did get a big payout. But the person said that they'd trade all of the money to be whole again. If you've got a hot cup of coffee, be careful with it. If you spill it on yourself in your car, then you don't get paid. If you walk past orange cones and into an open manhole because you were glued to your phone, you're SOL.
