Yup. But again, any maliciousness won't be in the content of the QR code, it will be in what the QR code is pointing to.
UNTIL... an exploit is announce and goes unpatched in popular readers. In that case, all bets are off. Like I posted before - the risk is in bad software reading it (and allowing execution of content) or in the website, etc. that it is pointing to.
