So John, just so I'm sure I understand you, what you are saying is that I AM the King?

Oh no, there goes the asses clenching up again.

I don't want to be the bearer of bad news, but Gruppe B is already being called "The B Team" in other circles.

True Tab, but we all have to remember that this is Waynes space here and so we need to respect his rules in that this is a Porsche forum. So we definatley need to stay on topic and not just use it as a general chat forum but combine the Porsche love with the humor. What a killer combo!

And Race, if you want to a King in your own mind feel free as I do not control your brain.... NOT YET ANYWAY...... ONWARD GRUPPE B!!!

We need a fresh member listing, #001.

Seriously, how much are these stickers going to be and who do I send the money to?

For the first time that I have witnessed in days the thread was bumped off of the first page. Do not fret fellow B Knights.... for even the most loyal must take a brief moment to ponder future advances. One must refresh the mind on occasion if he is expected to be at his best.(plus I had to take the wife to wal-mart)

Notice underBlueskies name...... A very brave soul indeed to list himself as a former WDP member and list his new affiliation with us, but a very wise soul!!

I had been ignoring this thread since it showed up a few days ago.

I figured it didn't apply to me.

I've been reading it now for 2 days...thats how long it's taken me to get to the end.

I've concluded 3 things:

we are all a bunch of nuts.

this does apply to me.

and...I want in!

here is a breif description of my car, submited for your review as evidence that I suitable for membership in this illustrious group.

1977 911s 2.7L of unknown history...and future!

my favorite "enhancment" is my custom exhaust.
thermal reactors... gone...this one has the Bursch thermal reactor replacements baby!(previous owner did me that favor) I've stripped the tin off the heat exchangers and cut the pipe to weld on 2" glasspacks...one on each side...ah yeah!
I cut the passenger side rear bumper valance to allow the passenger side exhaust pipe to stick out. "custom dual outlets" no chrome tip just 2" pipe hanging! loud as HELL! (parts $50...the joy I get from the sound...priceless)

the body is fairly straight and stock ice green metallic paint with black trim. I've added the rubber spoiler to the front bumper valance.the rear deck lid has a "Carrera" emblem from what I'm guessing is about an 87 or 88.

#001 if I'm deemed acceptable for membership in this fine organization please issue me #901.

You are indeed acceptable and worthy. And you my friend.... you are knighted #901, and an excellent number it is. Execute your first duty and add thy name to your profile for all the world to see. And yes we are nuts

Sc flares, eh? At least you don't have to worry about your quarter panels rusting! Now about the rest of the car...

Paleaseeeee! Even your Rennlist association won't make the 912 and 924 go any faster than Sir Hammer's car..add the power up and you'll still be a no more than a stable boy for our steeds...... hand me the wrench boy!

How's that for a bump to the top for the cause!

Midwest Front Report:

I have returned for my secret meeting with members of the West Burb-Chicago natives, and I am please to report that they are sympathetic to our cauae...a few more goblets of Guinness and the Midwesian army will join our march to liberate Porschedom from the hord of Guppies and Poopers..

...I am requesting funds for more Guinness, No. 1. Will you comply and send messengers with gold and gems to pry open the next barrel of spirits for our future comrades? I will await your reply and hold the Midwesians in my camp with virgins and a feast of warm R-compounds and hot Padgids.

Hurry, for these Midwesians are a bunch of drunks. They will surely wear down my supply of virgins and guinness within a forth night...

..I pray my messenger has not been captured and turned into a porter or jester for the barbaric hords.
