John, I might be giving something away here but on paper I have my 72 RS clone with all the goodies I would want. One color scheme I really like is the color of this 356 with silver accents on the script and polished fuchs. Kinda of different.
Image was lifted from TomT post, thanks Tom.

That is a beautiful, classy car!

Ray, I think that script would work great on a early non flared Porsche such as mt own, while the Carrera script would be cool for the flared cars. Where K9 when you need some photochop help.

Car Color

John (AKA #001)

Might I suggest silver for your car? On an overcast day silver looks just awesome. And, it was Porsche's racing colors for years.

I like mine, except in full sun. Then the shine washes out and it looks flat.

I just need to find 3 RSR's black, silver and red and line them up side by side and make up my mind. That should be no problem huh. lol

nice effort but you put some of the shadows on the wrong side of the letters. It should look something more like this. Though the width of each letter and the angle need to be a bit more consistant to.

Very cool guys! I'll be looking into a Gruppe B license plate myself.

GRUPPEB1

johncj8989 06-26-2003 06:15 PM

Into the cold dark night I go
With my trusty steed and headlights aglow
Knowing not where my journey may end
But feeling that I..... am with my best friend.

Blazen with gold she may not be
Not even a thing of beauty to see
Though sometimes she fails me and leaves me stranded
I dare not trade her lest I be branded

For leaders will come and leaders will go
Even trade for Zcars for claims that "THEY GO!"
But I will be loyal for my cause is just
When chicks see my car I know they will lust

World Domination they say is their plot
But claims of glory is all that they've got
For the fall awaits them... yes that is their FATE
And they've no one to blame but poor Mr. Pate

Your dooms been foretold... for the future I see
There's nowhere to turn .............but to turn to GRUPPE B!
