it is a short hood (EARLY CAR), Plans for an SC engine (SCWDP), with MFI (MFIWDP), it is a bastardization of different years (Gruppe B), and will be a hotrod (R-Gruppe)

I think my Lil SOB is the messiah, the 911 prophet...it will bring together the SCWDP, Gruppe B, MFIWDP, R-Gruppe...the chosen one that will bring unity and harmony to the 911 world...

I made a solemn promise when SCWDP Founder and inaugrual President, Leland Pate, handed the leadership to me a few months ago.

I promised him as long as there were Porsche 911 SC's on the roads, I would lead our soldiers ever forward, towards The Goal.

I have been following this thread with much interest. I have read and re-read it many times just to make sure I am not dreaming. What the leaders of Gruppe B are saying is appealing.

I the owner of a not so sought after 71 911T targa with its 2.2 that is only slightly modified (hell its still got the Zeniths), optional 14” Fuchs (comfort package), no a/c (who needs a/c when the top comes off), radio delete option (actually there is just a whole in the dash where the radio should go), no flares (but does have RS door panels) would be accepted. I find this hard to believe. Is there such a place for my Porsche to be recognized and appreciated for just what it is? A place that will still be accepting no matter what mods may come in the future (I promise no V8 conversion)? Is this place, this group, this club, this Gruppe B all of that and more?
If this is true the words I see written and spoken, do I dare join. Am I worthy of the title “Bastard”. I must ponder some more on this and consult with my family to be sure.
